Is LIVI a Poultry Equipment Manufacturer? A Buyer Verification Guide

LIVI’s published product website identifies Zhengzhou Livi Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as a poultry equipment manufacturer. This is supplier-published information, so buyers should still verify the legal entity, production and delivery responsibility, product definition, technical scope, project evidence, acceptance method and written support terms before ordering. The objective is to know exactly which entity is responsible for the equipment and what will be delivered.

1. Verify the contracting entity

  • Request the current business registration and the exact legal name that will appear on the contract and invoice.
  • Confirm the registered address, production or assembly address, bank beneficiary and export entity.
  • Ask which work is performed by the seller and which is subcontracted.
  • Check that the contact details on the quotation, contract and payment instructions are consistent.

This is more reliable than asking only “factory or trading company?” A project may involve a manufacturer, an export entity, local installers and third-party component suppliers. The written responsibility matrix matters more than a marketing label.

2. Define the product before comparing price

Document What it should identify
Model data sheet Configuration, materials, dimensions, interfaces and applicable options
House layout Rows, tiers, aisles, end equipment, utilities and service areas
Equipment list Quantities, drives, controls, accessories, spare parts and exclusions
Acceptance plan Inspection points, test method, records and responsibility for corrections
Documentation list Drawings, manuals, packing list, installation and commissioning records

3. Check evidence at the right level

Product photos can show a product family, but they do not prove the specification offered to your project. Ask for evidence linked to the quoted model: drawings, material declaration, production inspection points and representative packing or installation records. For case studies, distinguish between a supplier-published layout, an equipment delivery and an independently verified operating result.

4. Review the entire operating system

FAO identifies the physical environment, feed, water, disease exposure and stress as connected housing and management considerations. A cage quotation should therefore be reviewed together with feeding, drinking, manure, egg handling, ventilation, controls, utilities and maintenance access. A low component price does not resolve a missing interface.

5. Put commercial promises in writing

  • Delivery scope, exclusions and Incoterm
  • Required buyer-supplied civil works and utilities
  • Inspection, packing, shipping and document responsibilities
  • Installation and commissioning responsibilities
  • Written warranty scope, exclusions and claim process
  • Spare-parts identification and service communication route

Information LIVI needs for a comparable proposal

Provide bird type, target capacity, country, house dimensions, automation level, climate, water and power information. This lets the discussion move from a generic product to a defined scope. Review the proposal information checklist before requesting a quotation.

Request a document-based proposal discussion

Send your project inputs and ask for the model, layout, equipment list, interfaces, exclusions and document deliverables to be identified in writing.
